Moodboard + Branding materials

I went to Empire Mall to have a look on my client's shop - The Loaf. and That day got 50% off for some bread but i din buy them coz too rush and the Empire mall management not allowed us to take photo. The identity of that shop are wood floor and bricks. So I will use this both elements as my website background. Alright. I'm going to do my sketches now. Is been so lazy last few days. Wasted alot of time ;(

Project Concept Proposal

:: Project Definition ::

This project is to redesign the Loaf Langkawi Japanese Style Bakery Bistro Malaysia Bread,Malaysia Bakery website (www.theloaf.net) with a new concept towards enhancing the interface and interactive. The purpose to redesign is to understand and experience the process of commercial web design, to improve the interface for usability and attract more user to browse through this website. The Loaf is a baking concept operating in Malaysia but based upon traditional Japanese baking.

:: Current Site's Analysis Goal ::

Before I start to redesign this website, I have to do a analysis to find out the weak spot and improve it. The current site of theLoaf has provide many useful links for user to know more about them. This is useful for users to get information. however i will group the side navigation into top navigation. This minimize the untidiness and make the web clean.

The background is using a huge bread/loaf photos. This make the site load slower and look very busy. To Improve this, I will use a plain brown or soft color that similar with bread as a background. Some pictures size is not consistent. some are big and some are small, have to be consistent.

Besides that, the website is constructed by large number of pictures, restricted users from reading and copy down their information.

- The main content is too small, can make it bigger
